I bounce back and forth in clay from utilitarian work and sculptural funky work.

When I do my sgraffito work, that is also inspired by not only my sharpie drawings but my printmaking too.

I love the feel of the clay and the possibilities of working with it are endless. Also, the color decorating has numerous possibilities as well, I tend to stick to Cone 6 glazes and use a black underglaze to do my sgraffito with a low fire bodied clay to get the contrast I want with Black and White.
